Artist Profile

Trevor Page

Trevor
Trevor Page grew up singing in the choir of a Southern Baptist church in Titusville, Florida but his informal music education began at home listening to the Gospel, Soul, and R&B records that his mother would play. Donny Hathaway, Whitney Houston and Bebe and Cece Winans were some of the first singers he was musically introduced to.  Although his influences are vast, his roots are apparent by listening to his soulful vocals. The product of a multi-racial family (having a white father and a black mother) he understood early that music could help bring people together.

Trevor soon began writing, producing, performing, and developing his unique musical style. Early on he formed a Hip Hop group, produced and recorded an album and went on a short US tour for promotion. Trevor was anxious to satisfy another of his goals and decided to create his own musical project that would showcase his vocals.

His album called "These Days" was completed in 2012.  While showcasing big vocals and unique lyrics it also boasts a new charismatic sound of it’s own. The tracks are heavily soaked with colorful pop riffs and bassy beats that mostly keep the night’s tempo moving. Produced and written in the majority by Trevor, the album does feature a few guests vocalists, musicians and producers. Gabe Lopez produced and co-wrote on the song "Dancing on the Edge" , Lucas Bakker co-wrote and co-produced "All Alone" and Ricky Diamond lends his vocals on the party song "One of Those Nights". The future is bright for this young artist. He is on the rise!

Dancing On The Edge

Verse:
If you wanna be a dirty flirt
just know you run the risk of going down
There is nothing wrong with a little hurt
If you are willing to be bound

Pre:
More or less you wont want me to stop
Less is more but not when I'm on top

Chorus:
Dancing on the edge
when you try to take control
don't back me in the corner
cause I'll push when you pull
You're walking on the ledge
when you try to make me lose it
better give what you take
better know how to use it.

Verse:
If you wanna play the pretty victim
you should know that I might take the bait
don't you even think for a minute that I'm caught
cause you will lose this game

Pre:
More or less you wont want me to stop
Less is more but not when I'm on top

Chorus:
Dancing on the edge
when you try to take control
don't back me in the corner
cause I'll push when you pull
You're walking on the ledge
when you try to make me lose it
better give what you take
better know how to use it.

Bridge:
You're gunna send me over if you keep it up
Don't say I didn't warn you when I combust
You're gunna send me over if you keep it up
Don't say I didn't warn you when I combust

Chorus:
Dancing on the edge
when you try to take control
don't back me in the corner
cause I'll push when you pull
You're walking on the ledge
when you try to make me lose it
better give what you take
better know how to use it.
