Innovative songwriter/vocalist, Orlandria Johnson, also known as LANN, is continuing to earn a reputation as one of the most talented and versatile songwriters of today.

LANN’s soaring melodies, intricate arrangements and breathtaking chordal harmonies are combined with diverse influence that cast a memorable and lasting spell on her listeners. Her songs come alive with her ability to craft creative lyrics portraying experiences and emotions we all can relate to.

As a kid raised in the south, LANN admits jokingly that church attendance was mandatory-never optional, and contributed majorly to her passion for all genres of music in which she writes.

During elementary school, LANN’s parents encouraged her to join the school chorus, with a vocal talent so captivating, she continued with choir through college. Standing out on stage, LANN joined a successful R&B group and manager, Larry Jackson, encouraged her to embrace her talent; to write, sing and absorb the stage. It was not long after LANN opened for hit soul band, Frankie Beverly & Maze.

LANN’s love affair with music didn’t stop at college, or on stage. Music is LANN’s ministry, purpose and passion and by putting pen to paper, LANN was soon ghost writing for major artist and labels.

Word of LANN’s talents continued to spread and in early 2007, LANN met with Cappriccieo Scates (Director of SESAC Atlanta). After hearing LANN’s work, a friend of Cappriccieo, Craig King (Ray Charles, Mary J Bilge, Quincy Jones etc) had LANN commissioned to write not only for aspiring young artist Asia Bryant, but established artists such as Ludacris & Kanye West.

Rapidly reputable, LANN teamed up with award winning mixing engineer, Phil Tan (Mariah Carey, Usher, Rihanna, Toni Braxton etc) and went on to work at DARP Studios Atlanta, owned by the infamous Dallas Austin (Madonna, Michael Jackson, TLC + more).

Relishing the opportunities before her, LANN continued zigzagging between Darp Studios and Doppler Studios penning lyrics with artists such as rapper Cassidy, ‘Chili’ of TLC, Keisha Cole and collaborating alongside super producers, Focus (Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez) and 88 Fingaz.

LANN’s lyrical prowess skyrocketed as she flew between Atlanta and New York to meet with the likes of Chad Elliot (A&R, Sony) & Vic Numann (Bryan Michael Cox imprint). It was whilst working on separate projects at DARP, that LANN met her soon to be business partner, Dutch music producer, GUUS. After a year of successful studio sessions together, LANN and GUUS realized they shared the same vision and direction for their music and together they formed JINJA Music Productions.

In a short space of almost two years, JINJA had taken up a residency at Soapbox Studios, Atlanta (Aretha Franklin, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Usher, Leona Lewis), and had written and produced for many aspiring artists such as Asia Bryant, Zack Soufrine and Jess Godwin. Their tune titled “Ready to Rock” was also picked up by Disney for their worldwide Tamagotchi toy launch.

Director of SESAC, Cappriccieo M. Scates keeps LANN, and JINJA, high on his referral list when a label or artist is in need of a magical tune. “LANN is one of those writers that you just cannot deny” he says.

SESAC has subsequently signed on as LANN's publishing representative and with continued time spent between studios in London & Atlanta, She continues to expand her portfolio and ignite the industry with her ground breaking tunes.

Ready To Rock

Chorus:
I'm going downtown
I'm gone light up the city, let my hair down
Make the nightlife pretty
Hey, hey, I feel great
Its time to celebrate
I'm going downtown
I'm ready to rock

1st Verse:
Last look in the mirror liking what I see
I got my make-up, got my purse, I got my car keys
Now that I've gathered up my girls I think I'm ready to go, (Oh, Oh)

Chorus:
I'm going downtown
I'm gone light up the city, let my hair down
Make the night life pretty
Hey, hey, I feel great
Its time to celebrate
I'm going downtown
I'm ready to rock
I'm ready to rock

2nd Verse:
We're on the strip taking sips of some champagne
The music's pumping so loud I feel it in my veins
I'm having so much fun and it's just what I though it would be, (e-e)
I'm flirting with my eyes at the most cutest guy
He's walking over to me (he's walking over to me)
We're gonna party hard and dance till the morning light, (I-I)

Chorus:
I'm going downtown
I'm gone light up the city, let my hair down
Make the nightlife pretty
Hey, hey, I feel great
Its time to celebrate
I'm going downtown
I'm ready to rock
I'm ready to rock

Bridge:
Let's go- Let the music take control
Hit the dance floor- Shake it, pop it, move it, do it
Slow mo

Chorus:
