PK is an urban band based out of Atlanta and Los Angeles. The trio consists of ACE, MOTOWN and FINANCE. PK was formed as an outlet and outreach, creating compositions that captivate ears of music lovers everywhere. Their music is appealing and attracting audiences of all genres, ages, and generations.

The group originally met as freshmen in college at Georgia State University. Ace and Finance both attended the business school, and Motown the university’s school of music. While in college, Ace and Motown got their first experience in the music industry, through interning for an Atlanta based record label. Finance, still focused on his path of marketing and advertising, interned for a public relations firm. The intern experience not only sparked an interest for these gentlemen, but helped them realize a passion that would manifest at a later time.

Post-graduation they began working together on music that would give birth to their first song “Superhero (Go!).” A member of the community heard the song and asked the men to perform it at a local community venue. They would perform the song for a crowd of less than 20 people. But everything happens for a reason. “There were probably 10-15 people there but we performed as if there were a packed house,” said Finance. The group’s performance definitely paid off. A woman in the crowd loved their performance so much that she would invite them to perform at her event in front of over 500 people. And thus, PK was born.

In today’s world, life has become a continuous story of trials and tribulations, stress and struggle, pain and problems. PK provides music that soothes the ears, in an effort to help cope and handle the effects of life issues and current events. They create compositions that cross many genres as it mixes pop, rock, hip hop, and soul. Visit the links below for PK music and information.

Come Home

Hook
I want to be perfect but I'm so far away
How can I find peace when there's none in my day
Looking for love, but looking in the wrong faces
Searching for purpose in too many places
Where do I go? (Come Home)
Where do I go? (Come Home)
Where do I go? (Come Home)
Where do I go? (Come Home)

VERSE
(Lasanna)
(Come Home) When you're falling on hard times
(Come Home) Can't see ahead, looking for that yellow line
(Come Home) And there's a fork in the road
You ain't bring your GPS and you don't know where to go
(Come Home) Man, something's telling you to drive slow
But it's like you're driving with you eyes closed
(Come Home) Stuck between a corner and a crossroads
Plus, ain't got no quarters for this toll road
(Come Home) You thinking, “Why should I bother?”
When everything looks darker
(Come Home) Every son, every daughter
Look over the hill, get a glimpse of the Father!

HOOK

VERSE 2
(Brian)
(Come Home) And you the first born, you're the only child
The middle, the youngest… everybody's golden child
See, these people steadily waiting
For you to find success… They're losing their patience
You borrowing money, they looking at you funny
A ten in your pocket when you really need a hundred
Left the business world and you can't go back
So you find therapy in a bottle of Jack… man
You're wife wants things you can't afford
You cringe every time she walks inside the store
So don't get lost, look how much you've grown
And hear your vision telling you to come home!
