“Well-versed versatility” how better to describe the sound of Hilton & Brian Wright.
The production/songwriting duo and first cousins are the perfect blend of what has
been, is and will be forever amazing in music. Getting their start in the early 2000s
in their hometown of Southfield, MI, a suburb of Detroit, the production team has
already proven themselves to be a flawless gem in the Motor City’s crown. In the
mid 2000s they decided to expand their operation when Hilton relocated to Atlanta
to attend Morehouse College. The move proved to be vital for the duo as it assisted
them in cultivating their company, WrighTrax Productions as both a brand
and a business.
Drawing their inspiration from such musical giants as Michael Jackson, Rick
Rubin, George Martin and J. Dilla, to name a few, has enabled them to keep an
un-capped, fresh approach to their music. To date, Hilton and Brian have had the
great fortune of working with recording artists Mike Posner, Big Sean, Drake, Mr.
Hudson and a host of other prominent and up-and-coming artists. They have also
had the opportunity to score advertisements for such major corporations as Wal-
Mart, Jeep and Corona. In addition to the aforementioned, they are in the process
of starting a non-profit organization, The Most Likely 2 Succeed Foundation. The
organization’s focus is on helping high school aged students realize their untapped
potential.
Counting their blessings and relying on their “unmerited favor,” Hilton and Brian
have a goal to be more than producers, songwriters or artists…they strive to be
“change agents who will better the world through music.
