Yac-Yan Da Biznessman aka Mr. Multi-faceted born Yancey Warren McWeay was raised in Washington DC where he became accustomed to the street life at a very young age. No matter how deep into the streets he got, education and music were always in the fore front of his life. It’s an even combination of the street life, music, and education that comes together to form the self- sufficient Biznessman we know today.

Yac-Yan is the flagship artist for his 100 % owned independent label Naysay Music. Before going solo he was a member of the group Alius, whom was a known entity in the DC underground rap scene. While juggling street life and school, he managed to graduate Cum Laude from the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) in May 2002 with two degrees. He obtained an AA in Graphic Design and a BA in Studio Art while simultaneously completing his first independent album "Last But Not Least".

After reaching his zenith in the DC area, Yac-Yan moved to Atlanta where he has lived and soared for the last four years. He has not only picked up where he left off, but the Biznesman intensified and elevated his grind. He quickly established a name for himself by performing at all of Atlanta's showcases and events. He often found himself to be a finalists in several music contest such as "How Down Is Your Sound" which was hosted by Ryan Cameron of V103 in Atlanta and Epic Records Chevy Song search. "Being an artist from up north receiving accolades from the dirty south's most respected music power players in the middle of the dirty south movement only alludes to my tremendous talent". His music is a reflection of his real lifetime encounters with people and situations.

Yac-Yan has a gift for melody and infectious hooks and his lyrics speak for themself. He has worked with extraordinary and unique talents such as Universal/The Inc. recording artist The Thunderkatz to Pologrounds R&B sensation Boxie.

His songs have appeared on mix-tapes throughout the south and abroad. Print media has found great interest in Yac-Yan's lyrical talents and featured him in magazines such as: Street Report, SIR, FuSHion, HooD and Niche. Music Connection magazine alone named Yac-Yan as one of the top 25 demo's submitted for the year. Yac-Yan has shared the stage with some of hip-hop's hottest artist at music major conferences such as the Texas Urban Muisc Summit, ATL Record Pool, and Riding Dirty Car Show. Yac-Yan Da Biznessman's persistence and diligence has earned him radio airplay in over 20 US cities for his independently released single "Fast Lane" whose video was aired on several video shows on network tv and online. He is currently promoting his second single "Be Fly" which will be available on Itunes. In addition to music Yac-Yan has a real estate investment company, a clothing line and minority interest in other business entities. The philosophy of the Biznessman is to utilize all of his talents to the fullest extent. "Music is my passion but success is my obligation and daily goal".
